Went with NCC GOHs to change my boots. Getting motion sickness in the minibus while on the way to Amoy Quee Camp. My foot grow fast. From a pair of boots - size 6 change to size 8, it is a "seasoned" one though as they do not have a new pair of boot's size i wanted. Thinking to have 8 and a-half but then scared that it will be out-of-stock.

Saw the GOHs getting no.1 uniforms, the cap and the white uniform, looks very smart, wanted a set too, but i was not part of the NCC GOHs so do not have the privilege to wear. Did not feel very bad as i made the "choice".

Got back to the minibus again and have motion sickness again... hahaha. But is more enjoyable as Leon and Lie Shun is there to talk to me about soccer, lol.

Today had lunch with my sister in Suki Sushi. The food there was not bad, ate about 8 plates and a bowl of udon, adding up to $50+ with my sis. Burnt her pocket...hahaha.

Then she wanted me to wait for her while she had her hair cut. I was like "why not i go home first". Then she said if next time i need to wait for someone then how will i be able to do it. Then, okae fine, i waited. Frankly speaking, this is my first time i waited for my sister. It took one hour plus, going to two, and to me that is a very, very long amount of time wasted...hahaha. Luckily my patience lasted.

Read "lao fu zi" while waiting for her. Realise that i no longer laugh at the things that was drawn inside like i used to when i was young... should i be happy or should i be sad?

Then came home and finish up the yao qing han, got a lot of things to write but then do not want to open up the boundary still too big, scared i write out of question. Then now finishing up the Euro 2008 essay and that is one of the most relaxing essay i write, hahaha, no restriction but only question...

Ohh ya, last of all,...
Spain will win the Euro 2008

I was quite blur today, or should i said yesterday night, hahaha. Just realise there is something called Rivervale Plaza, lol. Then went to Rivervale Mall instead.

Went there to collect my leather shoes, and find that the store isn't there at all. Ask Zhi Huan about it then realise the place is near Northspring Primary. But the nearest school here is Rivervale Primary, hahah.

At least i got a treat on Mac from my mom, lol. So in the end return wih no leather shoes but a full stomach instead.

NCC

Just pumped my Part As this afternoon during NCC, really do not want to, but non of them is trying to put in a single effort. Ruzaini try being nice to them and talk nicely to them, but they just do not listen, thus leading me to pump them. But at least they changed and cooperates with each other after the pumping.

Apologised to one of the Part As, not because i think i made a wrong decision to pump them, but is due to me rushing them too much. The jobs that had to be done in one day is seriously too taxing. The only way to accomplished everything is dependent on speed, teamwork and cooperation heavily.

What i really want them to know is not about me pumping them, making them suffered, but is to let them know that, we are in need of time and if they still refuse to cooperate with us and do not try their best, then i will have to pump them.

And seriously, I can be your friend during school or school-ends hour, but when it comes to CCA, I will not considered whether or not you are my friends, as everyone will be treated equally as cadets under all the NCOs.

AFTERMATH

Walk to Punggol Plaza with Joshua, Aaron and the some of the NCC comrades. Then saw my sister loitering there. She treat me bubble tea and i bought Kiwi blend. Okae, it is a very sweet drink. Then onboard the bus.

If you know me well, i never like my head to be touched by any friends. Then the cutest, most innocent human in the world touch my head...hahaha. It is a toddler, maybe 2 years old.

*lol* Toddlers to me are always the cutest and i envy their life, hahahaha... *lol*

So was like, haha, why the toddler want to touch my hair. Nevertheless, i just stay there and let the toddler touched my head, as long as she do not pull me hair. My sis then play with her. The toddler's family jus sit there and laugh as she started to comb my hair, or should i said about to pull my hair...lol. Lucky my stop is near and i got off before my hair is
being pulled...

Was hook back to this Chinese song during the last Saturday of June Vacation. It is an old song but it is very meaningful in it lyrics. Fallen deep into it due to the mood of the song and the whole emotion it emits...

The title of this song is "Shi Nian", sang by Eason Chan.

This song is for every possible pessimistic people right now... hahahaha

I finally understand Binomial Theorem in additional mathematics...hahaha.

It was a blur situation for me almost everytime when the lesson touches additional mathematics as i never really 100% understand what Ms Khong teaches. But today i finally understand 2 methods on Binomial Theorem.

One is taught by Klement, my first step towards understanding Binomial Theorem while the other is taught by Ms Khong, which finally gave me a 95% understanding.

The 5% depends on the test paper though...hahaha

Just tried the blazer today, they are quite comfortable to wear even though it is a heater in disguise. As Aaron's built and mine are similar, we were like following each other sizes. While trying the Size S - for Stevie.G, it was a bit uncomfortable as it is tighter around my shoulder.

Then Aaron too try the Size S blazer. So he buttoned up the blazer, after he do that, WT go forward and tugged him on the blazer. Then did i realise what they meant that 2 chickens can still fit in after Ena wear the Size XS blazer.

Thus Mr See ask us if we want to try the Size XS blazer. The Size XS blazer is kind of small as the moment i wore it over my shoulder, i will need to curl both arms inwards before spreading them into the sleeves. It is very squeezy inside. Then Aaron try to fit in and he couldn't manage to.

So in the end we still pick the Size S, as Size M is too big for the 2 of us.

Mr Yeo tell me about photography competitions today and mention to me that if i have any interests to join any competition, i am free to so. I was thinking about it after school. Have some flashbacks then decided that, if i were to have anything that is going to do with photography, it will either be that the school needs my help to take pictures in events or it will be leisure.

Never will i want to get myself involve in a stressful competitional-level kind of situation again.

School starts today after June Vacation. Slept early the previous night, it does have some effects- at least for the morning...hahaha...

Wake up at 6am, nice and fresh, all ready to start the day correctly. Reach school at about 7.15am, was really happy when seeing some friends which hasn't seen them for a long time. Quite shocking when Ena suddenly see me then shout: "Aloysius, you cut hair huh?". Then i was like, "Hmm...,Ya".Was thinking like, "Do i rarely cut my hair?", hahaha...

Then while lining up, Ms Tao called my name, i thought something happen. Then she asked me: "Aloysius, why you suddenly grow taller?". And i was quite happy to hear that. YES! I GROW TALLER!!! hahaha...

Then listen to the Mrs Koh, Mr Quah and Mrs Tan talking about the expectations of the schools and also introductions of teachers. See a lot of new faces and hear a lot of positive comments from Joshua on a teacher, hahaha...

Then come to our first lesson with Mdm Kartini, she hold it light for us as it is just the first day of school. Ask about one new thing that we did during the holiday, i was like thinking very hard and still cannot think of any. But manage to think of it now... is staying through up the night till the next morning counted...hahaha...

Then go for PE and have my height and weight taken: ...........Underweight again..........hahaha...

Then gone to help Ms Leanne with the formatting of diary and so on, did not modify anything, just stick with her format as Klement and i think that her format is good as it is short and simple, hahaha.

Then gone back to class with Mdm Kartini on the feedback of the class, have recess- and yes i miss the food, hahaha- then go for CME lesson. Mr Chiong take over Mr See, and the lesson is on Fair Play, part of Integrity. Ohh ya, it touches on Euro 2008, Spain, hahaha...

Then comes to Emath, was not in the situation for the first 15mins, then slowly get back and understand the lesson at the end of the day. Learnt about cyclic quadliateral today, manage to pick out at least 70% today, hope that i will be able under it more deeply and thus have a nicer tommmorrow...hahaha...

Lastly Chinese, Ms Lee covered issues on O-levels, sure it is a very serious issue to me. She mentioned that it will be quite an insane period of time for us so we need to follow her speed closely in order to cope withe the studies. Was wondering how the Sec 2 is going to manage their next year...hahaha...

While i was still young and staying in Tampines, my father will bring us to visit our grandparents occasionally. It was not to my liking. I could not communicate with them due to my standards in dialect are still weak and also my gramps' house is not fun at all. There is no toys or cousins to play with most of the time then...

I always remember seeing my deceased grandfather sitting on the floor , playing his favourite poker card game. One of which i do not understand even till now. He will always ask me if i have eaten my lunch and how is my work in dialect, which i will always answer
blurry. Nod and reply "hem". My mom who is around will then laugh and translate to my grandfather, who is hard of hearing. Thus my grandfather will "HUH" a lot of time, before getting the message...

When we are about to leave, i will always bade goodbye to my grandfather. He will always smile and wave back. He, who is in his 80's then, will walk out to the corridor in front of the flat and look down. I will always see the
silhouette of him looking down at us. It was when i will keep on waving goodbye to him until my view of him was covered up by the void deck of the next block of flat...

This flashback just came so suddenly and i decided to just type it out to vent some frustration...it is not some horror stories though but it affects my teenage life...for at least that very month.

When my grandfather, 91, pass away, i attended the wake. He died of lung cancer... the very last stage. Some people ask me how i feel when my grandfather pass away. I still remember saying i was happy- for he get to escape from all the sufferings that the illness had brought onto him. I feel sad too even although my grandfather only know dialect, thus i could not communicate well with him, but he still show me love and care. (Will tell your more about him at my next post as i had side-track a bit).

My father thus invite his friends to my grandfather wake. When he introduced my sibling and i to his friends... he said:

" This is my eldest daughter and my second son"

But when it comes to me,...

"This is the extra"

I remember clearly that i was very shock... how should i respond? Is he my dad? Is this a joke? it is all this thoughts that runs through my mind...

What i done is just a weak smile and take it as a joke, i do not want to act as a rebellious kid and neither do i want to embarressed him...and even till now it is still vividly in my mind.

The wake, the smile, the not-at-all funny joke and the word "EXTRA"

P.S: My sister is 1 year older than my bro, but my bro is 5 years older than me)

Untouched Part of Punggol

This is a place near Damai LRT. It is a small stream which is slightly higher than your ankle. Besides being a very "stress-less" place, as it is often deserted, it also shimmers brilliantly when the sunlight is being reflected from the river's surface.

These pictures are the macros of different plants' part. They can be range from as small as your little toe nail to a normal flower size. it is taken by a macro len which allow small plants' parts to be taken as big as what you seen in the pictures below:

Commonly seen vein that coils on its own...

Another difficult flower to take as positioning of the camera will affect the sharpness of the picture, thus i need to bend over and stabilise myself, until the core of the flower is sharper.

Haha... just got back the feeling of blogging after... a very long time. Originally it is for me to talk about my photos but after a few hiccups along the way...(ask me if you want to know about it), i stopped blogging... and it rot amazingly fast. The blog skin taken away and need to get a temporary one for it.

I recently got the chance to conduct a lesson. And it was a 'wow' to me. My first time conducting was during Spec course, it was much easier to do as the group of participants listening to you was smaller and you got to prepare beforehand but this one that i am going to say was a totally different experience. The size is maybe 5 times bigger (hmm...the Spec Course participants is not that big a group) and i got only 1 and a half day to prepare, thus it is a very nervous moment to me...haha.

But at the same moment as i am feeling nervous, i also feeling happy. That very seconds i know about this, i have a feeling that i will screw everything up but then i know i will benefit a lot from it. And in fact, it did, I have more confidence to teach and also have idea on how to cope with all kinds of situation that may cope up, example is TIME MANAGEMENT.

But then overall it is a wonderful experience.

P.S: Hey Abel, i just thought of this as it pop-up suddenly as one of my amazing experience in life.

i will never let you fall...
