Two months since Poly has started, life as a Poly student is vastly different compared to a Secondary student.
Poly's timetable, unlike Secondary's, does not always starts at 8am and ends at 2pm latest, excluding CCA. It varies from day to day. Some starts in the afternoon 12 or 1pm and ends at 5pm, some at 8 or 9am and ends at 4pm. I love Wednesday. It starts at 9am and end at 12noon, 3 hours of school only, haha.
The attire, is not uniformed, you have to be bothered by what to wear and it really starts to annoy me, as i do not have much clothings to change, haha.
Classes in Poly is also shrunken to half the size that of in Secondary. Halved the size, halved the noise, haha. Also, lessons with the entire people from your chosen course, which is more than 100 students. However, we cannot asked questions in lectures, unless the lecturers asked if we have any, unlike in classes, where there could even be a chance of a debate suddenly.
The food in Poly, is much nicer compared to the canteen food in Secondary. Especially the chicken rice there, cheap and nice, haha.
Poly's life though is more flexible, its requires much more discipline, because no one will be there to chase you for assignments that helps to keep you in pace. Also, unlike having only common tests and exams, Poly also include projects, as well as participation, as criteria for calculating results.
Holidays are different too. While Secondary students get to enjoy a month break, we only have two weeks for this term, adding the weekends of the previous week, there will be 16 days, and i dedicate almost all of which to working, haha. Will be richer, soon, haha, YAY!
i will never let you fall...
...i'll stand up for you forever
