Had an interesting Thursday
Much better than the guilt I felt on the day before
Attended to this elderly
He came to my counter, asked me if I had lunch
I said no, and we both started laughing
Felt sad when he passed me his documents
His hands were shaking uncontrollably
I felt compelled to reach out to receive it quickly
Accompany him to renew his password
"We're from the same family 500 years ago"
I joked with him as we shared the same surname
Not sure why, but he just gives me a sense of familiarity
And is likely to be troublesome if I cannot keep him down
Following what I said when I end off the previous post
I had to raise my voice... just a little
Probably thinking that I do not understand his point
He got more and more agitated
Have the urge to actually stop the whole process
As he gave me the feeling that he was losing his cool
After third or fourth round of explaining
He kind of got where I am coming from
When it ended, he actually praised me
With a stern look, he approached my counter
"Probably I might get some scolding from him"
"Don't judge a book by its cover"
For the first thing he do is to crack a joke
"Boy, where's my red carpet to welcome me?"
Sometimes midway through my work
"Does these people really need my help
Or are they just finding someone they can relate to?"
i will never let you fall...
...i'll stand up for you forever

Went back to GDLS to share with the juniors on my life in Poly
Come to think of it I didn't really make it sounds nice and cosy
Their expression kinda hardens into the sharing session
Maybe I'd been too honest?
But painting a rosy picture is not helpful at all
So this slight tinge of guilt is worthwhile
Probably
Wanted to wrap up my Poly life when it comes to an end
Tried but nothing comes to mind
Nothing exceptional
Just stuffs that are mundane
Working behind the desk
Easiest job as compared to the previous
Didn't really focus entirely on working this time round
Focus on work solely shouldn't have been the working attitude for my age?
Met different kinda people
Always like these kinda experiences
Mostly nice but there is always the otherwise
"Take the lead on the conversation
Before the nasty turns nastier"
i will never let you fall...
...i'll stand up for you forever
